Q: How do I know if I’ve been approved?
A: Once approved a representative from Landmark Property Management will reach out to you directly via email or phone. It is important to respond and sign the lease and pay your fees ASAP so you do not lose the property.
Q: Once I’m approved, what’s the next step?
A: Once you’ve been approved, the lease will need to be signed and the security deposit or move-in fee will need to be paid within 48 hours to ensure you get the property. The first months rent can also be paid at lease signing or will be due a minimum of 7 days prior to taking possession of the home. The first rent payment is always in full, regardless of the move in date. If you moved in mid-month, the prorated rent will be due on the first of the following month.
Q: How do I schedule my move in?
A: On the day of your move in, instructions for a lock box move in will be emailed to you by our office staff. Access instructions if all of the move-in requirements are met (all move-in funds are paid and cleared, the lease is signed, etc).
Q: What is a lockbox move in?
A: A lockbox move in simply means we leave a lockbox and keys at the property so on the day of your move, you have access at your convenience. This means if you’re running late or plans have changed, there is no need to reschedule a meeting time - the keys are there when you need them! 24-48 hours after the move in, a Landmark team member will stop by to remove the empty lockbox from the door (no need to be present).
